Prayer request box

This is situated in the reception area of the church and there are usually plenty of blank slips available for you to complete and post into the box. Information written on the slips is kept confidential within the team. Members of the prayer team do not approach you at any time to ask you about the situation we may have read about on your slips and therefore please don't feel we are uncaring if we don't ask you how things are. Once your slip is received we will lift it in prayer for one month. After this time we ask you to please complete another slip should the situation require continued prayer or we need to be updated.

Sunday morning invitation for prayer If you would appreciate someone to pray with you please accept our invitation to come up for prayer to the front of the church. There will be a number of the team available to pray with you every Sunday after the 10.30am service (refer to notice board for exceptions around holiday times)

You need only to give as much information about your situation with which you are comfortable. We are simply here to lift this situation with you to God. This service is intended to offer you an opportunity for a short time of prayer If you feel that your situation requires ongoing prayer in this way or may take longer than is available on Sunday please approach one of the team and we will endeavour to set up an alternative suitable time, i.e. invite you attend one Thursday evening.

We do not generally give advice and neither are we a counselling service, but we are delighted to pray with you. If you are in need of further support you will see a list of organisations that offer counselling and support on the reverse of this leaflet. This is not a list of recommendation and this information is simply offered should you find you are in greater need.
