Girls' Brigade

Girls Brigade is a worldwide organisation operating in 52 countries across the world. This year, GB will celebrate its 125th Anniversary and there are many celebrations and events planned to commemorate this. We are the 349th NI Company, and part of the East Antrim District No.9.

The motto of Girls Brigade is to "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ". At Holy Trinity Woodburn GB, our aim is to spread the word of God to all girls who join us, and to work for His glory.

Girls Brigade meets here in Holy Trinity each Tuesday evening from September to April. For our 2018/2019 session, we will be holding our Registration Evening in the Church building on Tuesday 4th September 2018 from 6.30 pm- 8.00pm where you will be very welcome. GB will begin in earnest on Tuesday 11th September 2018 at the times as listed below:

Ladybirds and Explorers - 3-7 years - 6.00pm-7.10pm

Juniors 8 - 10 years 7.15pm - 9.00pm

Seniors 11 - 13 years 7.15pm - 9.30pm

Brigaders 14 years & over 7.15pm - 9.30pm

In GB, we have a varied programme for girls to enjoy. Our GB Programme is split into 4 Sections which are Spiritual, Educational, Physical and Service. We cover each of these elements on a weekly basis and make our programme as fun and interactive as possible.
